Join Kevin Grant, a real estate broker with 5 years of experience running a boutique brokerage, in this RESACON Convention Session. Kevin will offer a unique perspective on how a real estate broker runs their business and how this can affect the way a home staging company should interact with them. Drawing from his personal experience, Kevin will provide insights into the workings of a brokerage, as well as survey results from brokers across the country. This session promises to be an informative and engaging discussion for anyone interested in the real estate industry.

Who is Kevin grant?

Kevin Grant spent over 25 years working as a sales, marketing, and project management professional in corporate America before transitioning to a career in real estate. He spent time at small entrepreneurial companies in the sporting goods industry and Comcast Cable, where he worked for 18 years. Although originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Kevin has spent most of his life in the Southeastern United States, with 22 years in Jacksonville, Florida. He earned a degree in Psychology from Furman University and an MBA from Emory University.

Kevin and his wife, Adrienne Lord, have lived in the NW St. Johns County area in NE Florida since 2001. Their daughter graduated from the University of South Carolina, and their son recently graduated from the University of Tennessee. They are accompanied by their two miniature, long-haired dachshunds. Kevin is an avid tennis player who has been playing for almost 50 years. He played national junior tennis and a couple of years of Division 1 tennis at Furman. He still enjoys playing national father-son and team tennis events.

In 2015, Kevin and Adrienne left their corporate jobs and started Sell or Dwell Home Staging. The business quickly expanded to include real estate sales and became part of Coldwell Banker and Better Homes and Garden brokerages until 2018. At that time, they opened their own brokerage and changed the name to Staged to Sell Realty and Staged to Sell Design in 2020. Over the years, their team of Realtors has grown to as high as 15, but Kevin and Adrienne still work directly with sellers and buyers.

Their niche is that they stage every listing at no cost to the homeowner, but they still offer competitive pricing. They also stage for other real estate agents through their Staged to Sell Design company. Other lines of business include design services and short-term rental staging. They have even worked on a few flip homes and managed a few rental homes for themselves and other investors.
